Why a Year Out? In the hope of creating a better world, we combine the adventure of travelling with the commitment of voluntary work, giving young people a great opportunity to share knowledge and ideas in a country with great biodiversity and a population of more that 100 million inhabitants. This also provides an excellent chance to travel around the beautiful and breath-taking country of Mexico before entering the commitment of university or working life, hence our volunteers tend to be between 16 and 25 years of age. Besides this, the voluntary work and participation certificate from the Mexican Government will look fantastic on a CV, no matter what professional path is pursued.
