In this modern world, English is becoming ever more the international language. Especially in the tourist areas of Puerto Vallarta, the English language is necessary since a major part of economic income is from foreigners that reside in or visit the area. However, many of the poorer people of the area, especially children, cannot afford to take classes, so volunteers will help in schools giving English lessons, which will give the youngsters invaluable skills for their working lives, giving rise to opportunities that otherwise would be out of reach. |
